Authorities seek help to find Paxton teen

PAXTON - Police in this Ford County town are asking for thepublic's help in finding a missing teen they believe ran away with aWest Virginia boy whom she met on the Internet.

Mikaela J. Hileman, 16, of Paxton, was last seen about 8 a.m.Monday, driving in a blue car with West Virginia license plates,said Paxton Police Chief Bob Bane.

Sitting in the passenger seat was a boy believed to be James P.Horner, 17, of Wellsburg, W.Va.

The two met some time ago on the Internet and had been usingFacebook and Skype to build their relationship.

But authorities say Monday was the first time the pair had metface-to-face.

West Virginia authorities told Bane that Horner left his homeabout midnight Sunday, driving to Paxton.

Hileman had left for school as usual, driving a family car. Butshe left it at a city park, where a witness saw her leave in theblue four-door Chrysler with the boy, said Bane.

The license plate number is 4N3417. The car is owned by Horner'sparents.

"We're concerned for these kids' safety," he said. He said theFBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children areinvolved.

Hileman has blonde hair and green eyes, and she wears blackglasses. She is 5 foot 9, weighing about 160 pounds.

Turner has brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall,weighing about 220 pounds.
