Fed: Patterson says unrealistic to think =2 Canberra
Senator PATTERSON says any requests by the funds to increase premiums would be carefullyscrutinised.
Applications are vetted by the Private Health Insurance Administration Council andthe Health Department.
The Health Minister can deny price hikes if she believes they're against the publicinterest or against the best interests of fund members.
