Bentley 59 Saint Rose 43 ALBANY -- Inspiring defense can go only so far. At some point, a team has to make some baskets, too.
The College of Saint Rose women were reminded of that Thursday night when a spirited second-half rally came up short against powerful Bentley, resulting in a 59-43 loss in a Northeast-10 Conference game at the Activities Center.
``I've got to think fatigue was a factor,'' Saint Rose coach Karen Haag said. ``We were working too hard defensively so it became difficult to get open. We were not finishing, not scoring.''
